2-Piece Automotive Clip Removal Tool Set

This set includes 1 mm thin car clip removal pliers and an angled fastener pry tool for lifting compatible plastic push pins, trim clips, rivets, and panel fasteners. Use the pliers for balanced lifting around a clip head, or use the angled fork tool to work beneath retainers and trim edges where access is limited.

Reduce Pry Damage from Flathead Screwdrivers

Flathead screwdrivers concentrate force on one edge of a fastener and can slip across surrounding trim. The four-point plier head is designed to lift compatible plastic clips and push pins more evenly, helping reduce pry marks, broken clips, scratched trim, and cracked panels during automotive service.

Thin Angled Jaws for Tight Trim Edges

The thin, angled jaw profile is designed to slide under tight trim edges, door panels, bumper clips, and body clips. This improves access in narrow areas around dashboards, fenders, upholstery panels, and interior trim where a bulky tool may not fit.

Spring-Loaded, Effort-Saving Control

The pliers combine spring return with lever action to help align, grip, and lift compatible clips with controlled hand force. This can make repeated fastener removal more comfortable for DIY repair, detailing, garage work, and professional service.

A mid-range tool set that delivers

This review is for "Car Clip Pliers, 1mm Thin Stainless Steel Push Pin Removal Tool1mm ultra-thin head reaches tight clips; 4-point support lifts push pins for controlled door panel, trim and bumper removal."----------------------------------Quality - This kit includes two pieces - the pry tool and the much more complex pliers. The plastic and metal components seem sturdy enough - however the tooling marks and plastic moldings all look a little off. This doesn't effect the quality of the tools, by any means. But visually they present as lower-quality. The grip for pry tool is a harder plastic while the pliers offer a software rubbery feel. The metal parts carry no sharp or dangerous edges, but show marks from manufacturing and are coated in oil.Functionality - These both worked pretty well to help get the new mudflaps on my car by allowing me to remove the clips that would later be used for installation pretty handily. I had no issues figuring out how to use these (as a layman) and they did the job I expected, with no visible damage to the plastic clips or the car itself.Value - These are priced well as you might expect for a mid-range tool set. I see either of these selling for more than half the cost of the set, so bundling them together offers a greater value. More importantly, this did the job perfectly and made my life that much easier, so they are a good product in my opinion.

Great tools to have on hand!

I actually ordered these for light furniture recovering projects rather than working on a car. Those little fasteners and clips show up in plenty of places besides automotive panels, and I've done enough prying at things with whatever tool happens to be nearby. 😂I haven't used the rivet remover yet, but the fastener remover works great. The thin end slips underneath a staple or a pin without needing much room, then the pliers give me enough leverage to pull it out without fighting with it or digging into the material around it.I can’t wait to try the spring-loaded handle on the rivet removal tool. I expect it to come in handy when you're removing a whole row of rivets from something…I just haven’t had a project to use that one on yet.So I can't tell you how well these work for dismantling a car, but for my little recovering projects, one of them has already earned a place in my toolbox. And more importantly, MY toolbox. My husband has his own disorganized collection to lose things in. 😂

Pries Without the Pain of Broken Plastic

Prying plastic push pins out of auto body panels with a standard flathead screwdriver almost always leads to gouged plastic or snapped clip heads. Having a dedicated pair of ultra-thin clip pliers completely changes that routine. The ultra-narrow tips slide cleanly under flush-mounted fasteners without scraping painted surfaces or damaging plastic liner edges, popping stubborn pins out in a single smooth squeeze. These tool steel jaws wedge under the center head effortlessly, leveraging equal pressure around the shoulder so the plastic fastener pops free intact. While pulling back the inner fender liners on a midsize truck to reach the back of the fog light housings, these pliers grabbed dirt-caked push rivets that would have shredded under standard pry tools. The companion levered pry bar handles broader interior trim panels just as well, giving you solid leverage on hidden door clips without flexing or bending under load. The coated handles provide decent grip even when working with oily hands, and the spring-loaded pivot keeps the jaws open so you can quickly jump from clip to clip. It works across various vehicle makes and aftermarket trim clips without a hitch. For a small addition to a specialty tool drawer, it saves an incredible amount of frustration and keeps you from constantly buying replacement clip kits.

Effective removal tools keep your clips intact

The media could not be loaded.

Both tools seem well made, are comfortable to handle, and effective for their respective purposes. They quickly pry and extract your vehicle clip pins without damage so you can safely re-use them.I tried both tools out on a few of my car’s door trim and engine clips to confirm they perform great. Although I already own a few other vehicle trim clip removal tools, nothing has this offset plier head’s teeth style that I really like because it functions so well. Meaning they make a nice addition to my toolbox for car maintenance tasks. The $19.99 price I ordered them for runs a little higher than similar tools, so it's good to see that $15 coupon for a better value deal. MyRainer’s 2-piece clip remover set is one of those pieces of kit you don't need to use often, but is super handy for when you do. Overall, I'm happy with these tools.

Vehicle push clips tools

Vehicle pull clips tool makes life easier. We got this, so we wouldn't keep breaking the push clips with using a screwdriver. Both of these tools worked amazing, and we didn't break any clips. Each tool works flawlessly with no learning curve. Each one worked in its own way. The screwdriver type was great for dashboard and brake light removal of the clips and the plyer type hand tool was amazing in the wheel well. The tools show quality workmanship and long lasting in the way they have been designed and built. Fast shipping was another added bonus.5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Thin, sturdy tool that gets into tight spots

This tool does exactly what it's meant to do. The thin stainless steel head slides behind door panels and trim without much effort, and the design gives good leverage to lift push pins and clips without cracking them. It feels solid in hand, not flimsy like some cheaper trim tools I've tried. If you're doing interior panel work or removing clips on a car, this makes the job noticeably easier and cuts down on the risk of damaging the trim around it.

The Perfect Tool for Frustrating Car Clips

Working on car interiors and body panels always means dealing with fragile plastic fasteners, and this removal tool makes the process so much smoother. The ultra thin head slides perfectly under tightly seated clips without scratching the surrounding trim, which is a huge upgrade over trying to force a flathead screwdriver into narrow gaps. I appreciate the sturdy stainless steel construction, as it feels completely solid in hand and resists bending even when pulling out stubborn, older fasteners. The clever four point support design applies even pressure around the clip, easily lifting the center pin straight up without snapping the brittle plastic wings underneath. It fits comfortably in the palm and provides enough leverage to handle difficult spots around bumpers and wheel wells without exhausting my hands. The durability and precision of these pliers provide excellent value for money for anyone who regularly tinkers with vehicles. Their compact size allows them to reach awkward angles inside door panels where standard pry tools just will not fit. Since getting this tool, the frustration of broken clips and delayed projects has basically disappeared, and the quality of the finish suggests it will last a very long time in my toolbox. It handles a wide variety of fastener styles with ease, making it highly versatile for both interior modifications and engine bay maintenance. I am thoroughly impressed with how well it performs and consider it an essential addition to any garage.

Less hand fatigue

After removing 30 trim clips in a row, my hand wasn’t tired. Lever action really helps.
